Ingredients

  • All purpose flour – 1cup
  • chana dal – 1/2 cup
  • Jaggery – 1cup
  • Turmeric and salt - pinch
  • Ghee
  • Water less than ½ cup
  • Cardamom powder
  • oil - 2tsp

Instructions

  • 1. Add all purpose flour , turmeric powder ,salt and gradually add water. Knead it into soft dough. 2. Apply oil on the dough and rest it for 2-3 hours. 3. For filling cook chanadal and add jaggery. Cook until the mixture become thick add cardamom to the mixture. 4. Now take small portion of dough and spraed it and place sweet mixture at the center of the dough and cover it. 5. Again roll it to thin sheet 6. Place on the tawa by apply ghee on both sides. 7. Cook the poli for few mins on each side on a medium flame. 8. Our sweet poli is ready to serve!!!!
