Ingredients

  • 250 grams Sabut moong dal
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1tbsp , turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp , ghee
  • 2 chilli
  • 2 tomato
  • 2 pcs Onion

Instructions

  • Soak the moong daal for 1 hr and in the meantime prepare the tadka.
  • Take a fry pan and put some ghee and put Cumin seeds and green chilli and cut pieces of onions and heat it turns in brown color. Now add Tomato paste and mix it well.
  • Now add soaked daal and tadka mixture in cooker with some water and simmer it for 3 - 4 times.
  • Now put coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to taste. Mix them properly.
  • Open the lid and heat the flame at slow level for some time. Close the flame and daal is ready to serve and garnish it with coriander leaves. Eat it with chapati and pickle.
