- Cooked sweet pongal
--Take 1/4th cup of moong dal in a cooker. -- dry roast the dal in a ghee for 1mintue. -- add 3/4 cup of rice to it. -- add 2cups of water and 1cup of milk. -- let the cooker whistle for 7-8times. -- take separate pan take 1.5 cups of jaggery and melt it by pouring 1 cup of water. -- open the cooker after it loses steam and liquid jaggery to it -- mix well and cook on low flame for 4-5 mintues -- serve it with ghee and roasted nuts of your choice.
