- Take a cooker put soaked daal in it add salt and turmeric powder also water and cook it for 3whistles
- Now mashed it properly and add water and potato (pieces) and boil it for 5-6mins
- Take a pan add oil,cumin seeds,red chillies,curry leaves and garlic in it
- Now add onion slices cook it till golden brown.
- Add tomato puree cook it till oil comes out.
- Now add all spices with little salt and sambhar masala
- Now add this masala in daal and boil it for a while
- Turn the flame off and add coriander leaves and serve it with idli,vada and roti.
