Ingredients

  • 11/2 cup Daal ,1 onion(slices)
  • 2 tomatoes, 2 kashmiri red chilli
  • 7-8 garlic cloves, 5-6 curry leave
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves ,1 boil potato
  • as required oil, as per taste salt
  • 1 tbsp sambhar masala ,2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds

Instructions

  • Take a cooker put soaked daal in it add salt and turmeric powder also water and cook it for 3whistles
  • Now mashed it properly and add water and potato (pieces) and boil it for 5-6mins
  • Take a pan add oil,cumin seeds,red chillies,curry leaves and garlic in it
  • Now add onion slices cook it till golden brown.
  • Add tomato puree cook it till oil comes out.
  • Now add all spices with little salt and sambhar masala
  • Now add this masala in daal and boil it for a while
  • Turn the flame off and add coriander leaves and serve it with idli,vada and roti.
