  • Water
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Sambar powder
  • Tomato
  • Toor dal
  • Mustard
  • Red chilli powder
  • Onion
  • Cumin

Instructions

  • Take a pressure cooker and add toor dal,water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Take a pan and add oil,cumin, mustard,onion and saute well. Then add this into cooked dal and add chopped tomato,red chilli and, sambar powder and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes on low flame and serve hot with rice,idli.
