Ingredients

  • 1 cup Refined Flour
  • 1 tbsp Ghee/Butter
  • 1/2 cup Semolina
  • 2-3 Green Cardamom/1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 3 tbsp Sugar Dust
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts
  • 6-7 Cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp Grated Coconut
  • 6-8 Raisins
  • 2 tbsp Grated Paneer
  • As needed Luko warm water
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar and 1/2 cup water for making Sugar syr
  • 1 tbsp Butter / ghee for brush the Gujiya for baki

Instructions

  • In a bowl,mix refined flour and ghee together well.Rub it and make a dough with as needed Luko warm water.
  • Cover the dough with wet towel.Keep aside.
  • Make the stuffing,so take a pan and roast dry fruits- walnuts and Cashew with little butter.Remove it and grind it like dust.
  • Now use remaining ghee and add 1 cup Semolina and roast it.Add sugar, coconut and dry fruits dust.And also Cardamom powder and raisins.
  • Add grated paneer lastly and remove it in a plate.
  • Divide the dough into small balls and roll it.Put the stuffing with a spoon and give shape like Gujiya.
  • Brush both side with ghee or butter.Bake it in convection mode for 10-12 mins in 180°. (You can also fry in a kardhai)
  • Make sugar syrup with 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water.Put the Gujiya into it.Keep it for 5 mins and serve it.
