- Boil onions in a deep non-stick pan. Strain and cool. Grind the boiled onions into a smooth paste. Heat oil in another deep non-stick pan. Add cinnamon, bay leaf, peppercorns and cloves and sauté till fragrant. Add green chillies and boiled onion paste and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute. Add cashewnut paste and sauté for 2 minutes. Add yogurt, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add a pinch of saffron, garam masala powder, salt and cream and mix. Add cottage cheese cubes and mix. Add cardamom powder and mix. Adjust salt and mix well. Serve hot.
