Shahi toast with thandai rabdi

Ingredients

  • 8 bread slices
  • 1/2lit milk
  • 4 tbsp milkmaid
  • 1.5 tsp thandai powder
  • 5-6 saffron strands
  • 2 tsp milk powder
  • as required Chopped nuts
  • as per need Oil for frying

Instructions

  • First take bread slices & cut its sides. Now cut roundles of it with the help of cookie cutter or any lid. Now heat oil in a pan & fry these discs till golden brown.
  • Take milk in a heavy bottomed vessel for boiling. Dissolve thandai powder & milk powder in 4 tbsp cold milk & add to the boiling milk. Keep stirring. Now add milkmaid to it. Heat it till it becomes thick like a spread. Now switch off the flame & let it cool. Keep it in fridge for sometime.
  • Now arrange crispy discs in a serving plate & spread thandai rabdi on it. Garnish with some chopped nuts & Tutti frutti.
