Ingredients

  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Water 2 cups
  • Saffron strands few
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Boiled and mashed sweet potatoes 1-1/2 cups
  • Milk powder 2 tbsp
  • Arroow lot 2 tbsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee for frying

Instructions

  • For sugar syrup In pan add sugar and water and boil for few minutes, till sugar melts.
  • When syrup is sticky like oil. Now off the flame and add saffron strands and green cardamom powder. Now allow to cool completely.
  • Now mix boiled sweet potato, milk powder, arrow lot and green cardamom powder.
  • Mix it well like a dough and give shape of balls and dip fry in ghee till golden brown in color.
  • Now cool the balls at room temperature, then add it in sugar syrup.
  • Now ready to serve.

Notes/Tips

When balls are hot don't add in sugar syrup otherwise balls will get shrink.
