I remember that this Shiro tastes more delicious when prepared by my mom. So the recipe today I am sharing is straight from my mom's recipe treasure box (the magic lies in the milk, ratio of ingredients, and roasting of wheat flour). This Shiro is very easy and quick to prepare using basic kitchen ingredients like wheat flour, ghee, jaggery and milk.It has a very soft texture while the nuts in it add a nice crunch to it. This is a traditional dessert yet tastes completely divine.

Shiro is very close to my heart and is one of my favorite sweet dishes of Indian cuisine as it always refreshes my childhood memories. I still remember when I was a kid, my mom used to make my birthdays a special and delightful occasion with this special sweet.
