Sing Paak with Jaggery

Ingredients

  • 2 cup peanuts
  • 3/4 cup jaggery
  • 1 tsp roasted seasami seeds
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp crushed edible rose petals for garnishing

Instructions

  • Firstly, dry roast the peanuts till crunchy. Once it's done, remove peanuts skin and coarsley grind it in pulse mode.
  • Further, In a kadhai heat ghee and Jaggery. Cook on low flame until it starts bubbling. Turn off flame.
  • Immediately add peanut powder, mix well. You get a dough like consistency.
  • Now, quickly transfer the mixture in a lined container. Press it gently and evenly. Spread sesame seeds and rose petals over it and press again.
  • You can use any flat bowl to press it evenly. Let it set for 10 minutes. When the mixture is little warm cut in into pieces. Sing paak is ready.
  • Store it in a airtight container without refrigerator. Enjoy upto a week

Notes/Tips

Do not over cook jagerry , stir continuously .
