Ingredients

  • Rice 4cups, lemons six, chena dal soaked one cup
  • Two spoons rai powder, salt, turmeric , ginger
  • Hing

Instructions

  • Boil rice with exactly Seven and half cups of water in pressure cooker
  • Put oil in the pan and when it is hot add rai,green mirchi, curry leaves, urad dal , soaked and dried chena dal and ginger paste
  • Fry all the ingredients until mirchi becomes soft and dal becomes golden
  • Now add hing and mix well
  • Remove from the stove and add cooked rice lemon juice and salt

Notes/Tips

Do not boil rice soft it should be not too soft nor hard
