Instructions

  • Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 15 minutes. Heat ghee and oil in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, shahi jeera, cashew nuts, green chili, sliced onions, salt saute it for 2 minutes. Then add ginger garlic paste cook this till raw flavor is gone. Add methi leaves, mint leaves, coriander powder, chili powder, soaked soya chunks, saute it for 2 minutes. then add garam masala and add curd and required water, salt. Once it comes to boil add soaked basmati rice, let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes in a high flame. Reduce the flame and put the lid on and let it cook for 5 minutes or until rice cooked. After 5 to 6 minutes soya chunks pulao ready, switch off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves cook it for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes serve it with raita.
