Coconut ladoos are sweet balls made using shredded coconut. I have used Strawberry Preserve to give it a delicious strawberry flavour. These ladoos are easy and quick to make with very few ingredients. Perfect recipe for festivals and get togethers.

Strawberry Coconut Ladoo

Ingredients

  • Desiccated Coconut : 1 cup
  • Strawberry Preserve : 2 tbsp
  • Condensed Milk : 1 tbsp
  • Raspberry food coour : 2 drops
  • Dried Rose petals : a few
  • Ghee : 1 tsp

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a fry pan.
  • Add desiccated coconut and roast for a minute.
  • Take out in a mixing bowl and add strawberry preserve.
  • Add heaped spoon of condensed milk.
  • Mix everything nicely.
  • Add a drop of colour (you can skip this step if you don't want to use colour)
  • Take ball sized mixture and roll it to make ladoos.
  • Roll it in desiccated coconut so that the ladoos are well coated.
  • Garnish the ladoos with dried rose petals. Strawberry Coconut ladoos are ready. Keep it in airtight container.

Notes/Tips

Do not over roast desiccated coconut.
