Strawberry Lassi

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh curd (yogurt)
  • 8-9 strawberry pieces
  • 2 tbsp sugar, as per taste
  • A pinch of cardamom (optional)
  • Few chopped strawberry slices
  • 2-3 mint leaves

Instructions

  • In a blender, add yogurt, strawberries and sugar. Blend them till the mixture is frothy.
  • Check the consistency of lassi, if lassi is too thick add little water or milk as desired. Keep in refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  • Garnish with chopped strawberry slices and mint leaves.Serve chilled.

Notes/Tips

Adjust the amount of sugar depending on the sweetness of strawberry. Instead of fresh strawberry you can use 2-3 tbsp strawberry crush. Make sure the curd is not sour preferably use fresh thick curd (if curd is sour add little milk in it). If you want to serve immediately, add ice-cubes while blending.
