Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rava or fine semolina 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 3 tbsp curd To taste salt
  • 1 tsp Eno Fruit Salt
  • 3 potatoes cubed and boiled
  • 2 onions chopped finely
  • 8-10 curry leaves fried 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1/4tsp hing
  • 1 tbsp coriander chopped 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 dry red chilli as per taste salt

Instructions

  • Soak 1/2 cup fine semolina,rice flour and maida with curd,little salt and as needed water to make a thick batter.Cover and let it rest for half hour or more.Meanwhile boil potatoes and mash it coarsely.Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok and fry curry leaves.Set aside.Sprinkle mustard seeds,urad dal and 1 dry red chilli.When they crackle,add hing.Add chopped onion and fry till transparent. Add mashed potato,turmeric, red chilli powder,salt to taste, roasted peanuts,coconut,lemon juice,curry leaves
  • Fry for few minutes.Masala potato stuffing is ready.Dilute the batter for dosa to make a semi thin consistency.Heat a non-stick frying pan.Drizzle oil and pour a ladleful of batter and swirl it around.Fry on low flame till it gets crispy underneath and porous.Flip and fry just once and set aside.Make all dosa similarly.Smear ghee and add portion of potato stuffing and roll.Serve hot healthy rava masala dosa in breakfast, brunch or dinner with mixed pickle,sambar or coconut chutney.
