- Pour 2 cup water in a swall sauce pan add sugar and bring it to boil
- Take suji in a heavy based pan, add ghee and heat it over medium flame
- Stir and mix using spatula. Roast it until golden brown. It will take anywhere between 8-10 minutes.
- Reduce flame to low, slowly add boiled water and mix by stirring constantly.
- Stir and cook to avoid any lumps formation.
- Increase flame to medium and cook until all water gets absorbed. Add turmeric powder mix well.
- Add cardamom powder mix well.
- Stir until a semi consistency. Add dry fruits and mix well.
- The suji halwa is now ready to serve. Garnish with chopped almond and cashew nuts
