Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp aniseed
  • 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup Dessicated coconut
  • Pinch Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup ghee

Instructions

  • First heat the jaggery and water in a pan. Let the water boil till the jaggery melts. Then let it cool.
  • In a bowl, add both flour, salt, sugar and water with melted jaggery and mix well. Then add cardamom powder, anise, soda and stir it well.
  • Heat a nonstick pan and take a ladle full of the batter and pour it on to the pan. Making circle. Sprinkle on top it with crushed anise and dessicated coconut.
  • When the net starts to fall, apply ghee and turn it sideways. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
  • So the sweet Pancakes is ready to serve.
