- Wash the basmati rice properly and then add all the spices with sugar, salt, cashew nuts and raisins to the rice. Mix it properly.
- Heat the pressure cooke. Then add the ghee, cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves and the bay leaf. Then put the rice in.
- Stir it for 2-3 minutes and add water. Here water consistency is important. In 2 cups of rice add 3 ½ cup water.
- After 2 whistles switch off the gas.
