Sweet Pulao

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Basmati Rice
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Cardamoms
  • 1 Cinnamon
  • 3-4 Cloves
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 10 Cashew Nuts
  • Handful of Kishmish/Raisins

Instructions

  • Wash the basmati rice properly and then add all the spices with sugar, salt, cashew nuts and raisins to the rice. Mix it properly.
  • Heat the pressure cooke. Then add the ghee, cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves and the bay leaf. Then put the rice in.
  • Stir it for 2-3 minutes and add water. Here water consistency is important. In 2 cups of rice add 3 ½ cup water.
  • After 2 whistles switch off the gas.
