- For Sugar syrup: Boil sugar and water together till it simmers. Add rose water and the green cardamom. Once it reaches a thin syrupy consistency, remove from flame.
- Knead the boiled sweet potatoes well to remove any lumps.
- Add the milk powder and mix well into the sweet potatoes.
- Finally, add the amaranth flour and mix well into the mixture. There shouldn't be any lumps in the mixture.
- Portion the dough equally and shape into round balls.
- Deep fry the balls till golden brown and dip them in the sugar syrup immediately.
- Garnish with chopped pistachios and serve warm.
