- Cut the Tomatoes add them to a small blender and grind to a smooth paste. Put Kadaai on a low flame heat one tbsp oil. Add mustard seeds and crackle them. Then add the Tomato paste which we made mix well. Saute for 3 - 4 minutes on a low flame. Put salt to taste add turmeric powder and chilli powder. Check the taste and add more salt if required and garnish with curry leaves. The Tomato chutney is done and ready to be served with idly or dosa or rice or chappathi.
