- Take 1tbs oil and add chana dal, urad dal and cumin seeds and red chillies. Saute till dals turn golden colour. Then add onions and garlic and saute. Then once onions are soft add sliced tomatoes. Add tamarind and 2tsp salt.
- Once everything is cooked keep aside and let the mixture cool. Then grind it to a fine paste. Add required amount of water. Grind again. Add the tempering of mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
