  • Chana dal
  • Pomogranate
  • Salt
  • Green chilli
  • Ginger
  • Mustard
  • Oil
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Tandoori masala
  • Coriander
  • Sugar
  • Lemon

Instructions

  • In a mixer add soaked chana dal (6 hours), water and grind well to make a smooth batter
  • Stream this chana dal batter for 10 minutes
  • In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, ginger paste, salt, lemon juice. Add steamed chana dal mixture to it and mix well to make khamni
  • Tandoori Sev Khamni - In a kadai add oil, green chilli, onion, tomato, coriander and mix well. Add khamni to it.
  • Top this khamni with sev and pomogranate. Sev khamni with a tandoori twist is ready to eat

Notes/Tips

You can use leftover crushed dhokla or khaman to make tandoori sev Khamni.
