- Heat oil on a non-stick tawa. Add cumin seeds and sauté till the seeds change colour. Add green chillies, garlic, ginger and onions, mix and sauté well. Add red chilli paste and mix well. Add tomatoes, salt and mix well. Cover and cook till the tomatoes turn pulpy. Add chilli powder and pav bhaji masala, mix and cook for a minute. Add green peas and capsicum, mash and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add rice and mix well. Add butter, mix and let it get heated through. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well. Serve hot.
