  • Tomato
  • Turmeric
  • Red chilli powder
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Coconut
  • Oil
  • Shallots
  • Curry leaves
  • Mustard

Instructions

  • Place tomatoes in a vessel along with turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and required water. Boil and cook on a low flame for about 3 - 4 mins. Meanwhile, grind together coconut and small onions along with 1/2 cup of water. Add it to the tomato gravy. Allow the tomato curry to boil for 2 mins. Heat oil in a small pan. Splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves and saute for a while. Pour it into the tomato gravy and mix well. Tomato Curry is ready. Serve with rice.
