- In a bowl add 1 cup warm water and add almonds, cashews, poppy seeds, melon seeds, dries rose petals, fennel seeds and black pepper
- Mix well, cover and keep it aside for 1-2 hrs.
- After 1-2 hrs add the whole mixture including the water, sugar, cardamom seeds and saffron into the mixer grinder and grind well.
- To make thandai now add the thandai paste 2-3 tbsp ( or according to your own convenience) in a glass, add milk and mix well
- Add ice cubes, garnish with rose petals, almonds and serve chilled
