Ingredients

  • Ingredients for Thandai Powder: • 2 tbsp almonds
  • • 2 tbsp cashew nuts • 1 tbsp pistachio
  • • 1 tsp cardamom • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp fennel seeds • 2 tsp poppy seeds
  • • 2 tbsp dry rose petals • 1/4 tsp saffron
  • • 2 tbsp melon seeds
  • Ingredients for Rabdi: • 1/2 ltr full fat milk
  • 1/2 cup milkmaid • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp saffron emulsion
  • • 1 tbsp sliced mixed dry fruits
  • • 1&1/2 tbsp Thandai powder
  • Ingredients for Sugar Syrup: • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water • 1/2 tsp kesar emulsion
  • Other: • 8-10 bread slice
  • Ghee for frying • Pistachio for garnishing

Instructions

  • Method: 1. Mix all the ingredients of thandai powder, roast it slightly & grind it in mixer grinder
  • 2. Boil the milk, make its thick rabdi & add thandai powder & dry fruits in it. Rabdi is ready
  • 3. Make sugar syrup of 1/2 thread consistency 4. Fry the bread slices on ghee till it turns to brown color
  • 5. After it cools down, dip it in sugar syrup & take out immediately
  • 6. For serving, arrange the prepared bread slices & pour the thandai rabdi on it. Garnish it with Pistachios. Your Thandai Shahi Tukda is ready to serve
