- Roughly chop 3 tomatoes and boil them with 1 clove garlic and 1.5 cups water in cooker
- Pressure cook 1 whistle at high flame and simmer for 5 minutes at low flame. Open cooker when steam goes off completely.
- Separate water and tomatoes. Let the tomatoes cool down completely.
- Grind tomatoes to fine paste and sieve it.
- Now mix the separated water in the sieved tomatoes and keep aside.
- Now take a pan and heat 1 Tbsp ghee or oil
- Add ginger paste and 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
- Lightly toss for 30 seconds and then saute grated carrot for a minute
- Add the tomato puree prepared earlier and add black salt and white salt as per taste.
- Add black pepper powder and fresh coriander
- Bring the soup to boil
- Switch off the flame and add more coriander and little butter if desirable
- Serve hot
