- Chop the tomatoes and the dates into medium shapes.
- Heat the oil and add the panch phoron , red chilli, tomatoes and dates/khejur.
- Keep stirring, and then add a pinch of turmeric, salt and ginger paste.
- Keep stirring for 5-7 mins then add sugar.
- Keep stirring till a thick mixture is formed.
- Let it cool down and then serve.
