Tomato Khejur Chutney

Ingredients

  • 3 Tomatoes
  • ½ tsp Panch Phoron
  • 1 Red Chilli
  • Pinch of Turmeric
  • Pinch of Salt
  • ¼ tsp Ginger Paste
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • Handful of Khejur or Dates
  • 2 tbsp Refined Oil

Instructions

  • Chop the tomatoes and the dates into medium shapes.
  • Heat the oil and add the panch phoron , red chilli, tomatoes and dates/khejur.
  • Keep stirring, and then add a pinch of turmeric, salt and ginger paste.
  • Keep stirring for 5-7 mins then add sugar.
  • Keep stirring till a thick mixture is formed.
  • Let it cool down and then serve.
