- In a pan, fry mustard, dried chilli, curry leaves, urad dal,bengal gram, asafoetida in white oil for 20 seconds, then add chopped onion, chopped ginger, chopped green chilli. If the onion is light brown in color, chopped tomato in it, cover with salt to taste and cook over medium heat.
- Once the tomatoes are soft and mix well with the onions, add hot water. When the water boils, mix it well with roasted semolina.
- When the semolina water is dry, spread ghee and serve hot.
