Ingredients

  • 5 Tomatoes 1/4 tsp Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 7-8 Curry leaves 1 Tbsp Oil
  • As per taste Salt

Instructions

  • Cut the Tomatoes add them to a small blender and grind to a smooth paste.
  • Put Kadaai on a low flame heat one tbsp oil. Add mustard seeds and crackle them.
  • Then add the Tomato paste which we made mix well.
  • Saute for 3 - 4 minutes on a low flame. Put salt to taste add turmeric powder and chilli powder
  • Check the taste and add more salt if required and garnish with curry leaves.
  • The Tomato chutney is done and ready to be served with idly or dosa or rice or chappathi
