  • Oil
  • Mustard
  • Red chilli
  • Corinader
  • Curry leaves
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Hing
  • Turmeric
  • Tomato
  • Red chilli powder

Instructions

  • Place a pan over medium heat, add coconut oil. Let oil turn hot, add mustard seeds, let splutter. Add dried red chilies and curry leaves, saute for a few seconds. Add onion, season with ½ tsp salt. Saute for a minute. Add ginger-garlic paste, saute for few minutes. Add turmeric powder, combine well. Add asafoetida, combine and cook for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, cook till tomatoes are mashed. Add salt and chili powder, combine well and cook for a few minutes. Add chili powder. Add cilantro, combine well and cook for a minute. Serve along with rice, chapati.
