- Take a pan and add oil,chopped onion and saute well. Then add chopped tomato and cook. Then turn off the flame and keep it aside for cooling. Then take a blender and add tomato,onion,tamarind,red chillies,salt and blend into a paste using little water. Then take pan add oil,cumin, mustard, urad dal,hing,curry leaves and saute well. Add this tadka to chutney and mix well and serve with roti,chapathi,rice.
