  • Home made rabri
  • 1/2 kg vanilla cake or few cupcakes

Instructions

  • Boil fresh whole milk in a heavy bottom pan. Add sugar to taste. Simmer on low flame till half is left. Put off the flame. Add a can of condensed milk and 250 ml pack of fresh cream. Add flavor of your choice. Here I have added some rose syrup.
  • Place cake or cupcakes in a dish and poke it with a skewer. Pour the rabri on it slowly so that cake absorbs it. Cover and chill it.
  • Serve with garnishing of your choice. Here you can see a kulfi flavored tres leches topped with slivered nuts and a small dollop of pista cream.
  • You can do same in chocolate flavor too

Notes/Tips

Tres leches can be made in different flavors like coconut, rose, strawberry, mango etc
