Ingredients

  • Refined flour 1.5 Cup
  • Ghee 2 cups
  • Sooji 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar 1/4 cup
  • Natural 3 food colour 2 drops each
  • Cardamom powder 1 tbsp

Instructions

  • Take bowl add Flour, Sooji, 1/4 cup hot ghee,salt and mix for 10 min. Add cardamom powder and mix. Add water knead soft dough. Keep aside for 20 min.
  • Make Sata (mixture of corn flour and ghee) with palm mix ghee on plate add slowly corn flour and mix. Make light and fluffy mixture. Keep aside.
  • Take dough make four part. Keep one white part and other 3 part add natural food colour (beet/ spinach/ marigold yellow) and mix . Keep four dough balls ready.
  • Roll all four balls into chapati. apply Sata on each chapati keep aside.
  • Take coloured chapati after applying sata roll tightly.
  • Take White chapati apply sata and keep three coloured rolls on white chapati. fold all rolls tightly along with white chapati.
  • After folding keep aside for 5 min.
  • Cut into small 2 cm size rolls. with help of knife.
  • Slightly press and roll it each small rolls.
  • Heat ghee in kadhai. Once it's hot fry trio Rose Chirote one by one on low to medium flame. While frying pour hot ghee on top of the Trio Rose Chirote. It will help to get more layers.
  • Once it's fried keep aside and dust powder sugar on it when they are hot. and keep for cooling aside.
  • Fry all Chirote one by one.
  • Once it cools .then serve this sweet and beautiful and crispy Trio Rose Chirote on diwali festival.

Notes/Tips

Add hot ghee (mohan) while kneading dough. For crispy texture. Fry proper in hot ghee on low to medium flame. Cool it properly after frying then store in air tight container . Ghee / oil can be used. Instead of cardomom powder can be used Rose essence.
