Pineapple peels
Cinnamon Stick
Star anise
Brown sugar or coconut Palm Sugar
Water
Clove

Instructions

Wash the pineapple 🍍 thoroughly.
Add pineapple peels in a pot and pour in 1 -1/4 litre water, boil the skin together with the 1 inch cinnamon stick, 2-3 tbsp brown sugar or coconut palm sugar or any sweetener as per your taste, 2-3 cloves and 1 star anise.
Boil for 25-30 mins. Cover the pot with a lid and let it infuse for 5 more minutes.
Strain and transfer to a pitcher or a teapot 🫖 . Serve hot 🥃as is or let cool and add ice cubes for a cold 🍹Iced tea.
