- Wash the pineapple š thoroughly.
- Add pineapple peels in a pot and pour in 1 -1/4 litre water, boil the skin together with the 1 inch cinnamon stick, 2-3 tbsp brown sugar or coconut palm sugar or any sweetener as per your taste, 2-3 cloves and 1 star anise.
- Boil for 25-30 mins. Cover the pot with a lid and let it infuse for 5 more minutes.
- Strain and transfer to a pitcher or a teapot š« . Serve hot š„as is or let cool and add ice cubes for a cold š¹Iced tea.
