- In a mixer jar add rice, toor dal, jeera, pepper and pulse to get a rava texture.
- In a pan add oil, let it get heated add mustard, let it splutter well add channa dal, once it changes colour add 2 cups of water, hing, salt, curry leaves.
- Once water boils well add the rice rava and stir well to make an upma consistency.
- Let it cool down.
- Boil water in steamer, Grease a plate with oil. Make dumplings and steam for 15-20 minutes.
- Once done serve with chutney / sambar.
