- Combine turmeric powder, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and 2 tsps oil in a bowl. Chop 4-6 curry leaves and mix. Apply this mixture to the fish pieces and keep them in a refrigerator to marinate for 10 minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan. Keep the fish pieces in it in a single layer. Shallow fry, turning sides, a few times to ensure even cooking. Add the remaining curry leaves and cook till both sides of the fish are golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
