- Chop the veggies. Wash and soak the dal and rice
- Boil the dal, rice & 1 tbsp ghee in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles first on high flame and then on slow flame till the 2nd whistle.
- Heat ghee in a kadai add jeera hing. Then add chopped onions saute for a few mins, then add all the veggies and ginger chilli paste saute for few mins, then add the spices haldi powder, coriander powder, jeera powder and salt cover and cook on medium flame for 8 to 10 mins Cook till masala is in cooperated with the veggies.
- Then add the boiled dal and rice mix well. Simmer for few mins. Serve hot garnish with coriander leaves.
