  • 2 burger buns
  • 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups cooked veggies( beans, green peas, corns, c
  • 1 tsp ginger chilli paste
  • 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
  • to taste salt
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cucumber sliced ,1 tomato sliced
  • 1 sliced onion rings
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise ,3 tsp tomato sauce
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 2 cheese slices

Instructions

  • For tikki/patty Take boiled mashed potatoes in a bowl, add boiled veggies, chopped coriander leaves, ginger chilli paste, garam masala, lemon juice,a tsp cornflour, give it a good mix, grease your palm & make round patties.
  • For the cornflour slurry take 3tbsp cornflour in a bowl, add a pinch of salt add water and make a pouring consistency paste..keep it aside, keep ready bread crumbs in a plate... now take prepared tikkis dip in the cornflour slurry, roll it in bread crumbs shallow fry them until crispy and golden brown.
  • Now cut burger buns in to half apply butter warm it on frying pan & take it out.
  • Place patties on frying pan, place cheese slice on it cover it with a bowl until cheese melts, apply some tomato sauce on the buns place lettuce, some cucumber slices, tomato slices, sprinkle little salt & black pepper, now place patty on top of it& place onion rings, apply some mayonnaise on another bun & place it on the patty.. and it's done, you can serve it with some potato fries...
