Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3/4 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1 dried red chilli
  • few curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp peanut
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 carrot finely chopped
  • 2 green chilli
  • beans (chopped) 3 tbsp peas
  • 1 cup rava / semolina (coarse)
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cup water
  • 2 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
  • 7-8 raisins

Instructions

  • Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil. splutter ¾ tsp mustard, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp urad dal, 1 dried red chilli and few curry leaves.
  • Add 2 tbsp peanuts and fry until it turns crunchy.
  • further add ½ onion, 2 chilli and saute until the onions soften slightly.
  • additionally, add 1 carrot,   beans, 3 tbsp peas and saute for a minute.
  • Now add ½ tsp turmeric and 1 tsp salt. saute on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
  • Now add roasted suji,saute onlow flame for 5 mins,add raisins
  • Further, add 3 cup of warm water now keep stirring in one hand and make sure to keep stirring to prevent lump formation .
  • Cover and simmer for 2 minutes or until the rava absorb all the water.
  • Add 1 tsp ghee and 2 tbsp coriander n lemon juice,mix well.
