Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup For the batter - All-purpose flour -
  • 1/2 cup+1/2 cup Corn flour - for dusting
  • 1/2 cup Rice flour -
  • 3/4 tsp Salt -
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder -
  • as required Chilled water
  • 1/2 cup Soda water -
  • as per need Vegetables -sweet potato
  • brinjal
  • Zucchini
  • Onion
  • as required Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Mix all-purpose flour,rice flour,corn flour,salt and black pepper well.Add water little by little to make thick batter.
  • Mix corn flour and salt in a plate.Dust all the vegetables with it.
  • Heat oil in a wok.Just before frying add soda water in the batter.(batter should be of pouring consistency).Now dip dusted vegetable in the batter and deep fry one by one until golden brown.Remove it from the oil on a kitchen paper.
  • Your crispy Vegetable tempura is ready to serve.Serve it as a starter,tea time snack or topping of noodles.
