- Take a pressure cooker and add moong dal, carrot,potato, cucumber,ivy gourd,tomato, drumstick,brinjal, tomato, turmeric,salt and water. Then pressure cook for 6-7 whistles. Take a pan and add oil,cumin, mustard,curry leaves,salt,red chilli powder and mix well. Then add sambar powder,curry leaves, Turmeric and add this to dal mixture. Mix well and serve with rice,idly,dosa.
