Vermicelli is actually a very thin Pasta that is broken into bits and best of all, it is whole wheat and egg free. The beauty of vermicelli is that, it can be cooked in a hundred different ways. You can make sweet milk based puddings to pilafs or a simple dish like this one. You can make a hundred different dishes. Tasting different but delicious each time.

Ingredients

  • Vermicelli / Seviyaan 1 cup .
  • Chopped veg ( carrot ,capsicum , peas(boiled).
  • Cashews 3-4 nos Mustard seed 1tsp Jeera seeds :1ts
  • Lemon half Kadhi patta 5-6 nos Refined oil 1tsp
  • Onion, Green chillies .

Instructions

  • Take a saucer pan add 1/2 water in it and switch on the gas stove when water boils add pinch or salt and 1/4 tap of refined in it and add vermicelli mix it for 2 min and switch off the gas nd drain the vermicelli .
  • Add non stick pan or kadai add refined oil in it when oil heats up add mustard seeds, jeera, kadhi patta , cashew nuts
  • Sauté for 2 min then add onion in it when onion gets transparent add all veggies in it , add green chilies and salt and cover it with lid for 5 min in simmer gas flame .
  • When the veggies cooked with crunch add vermicelli in it nd give a great mix to the upmaa
