Vrat ke aloo/smashed potato

Ingredients

  • 10-12 Baby potato
  • As per taste Salt
  • as per taste Red chilli powder
  • as needed Roasted Jeera
  • as required Sesame seeds
  • As needed Ghee or oil for frying

Instructions

  • Boil baby potato for 3 to 5 min till it is just soft and allows a tooth pick.
  • Take it out of water and let it dry for some time.
  • Press it gently with a masher or flat surface of a bowl.
  • Shallow fry or roast on a pan with few drops of oil or ghee.
  • Fry on both sides well.
  • Sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder.
  • Garnish with roasted jeera sesame seeds and coriander.
  • Add few drops of lemon and serve hot crispy smashed potato.
