- Boil baby potato for 3 to 5 min till it is just soft and allows a tooth pick.
- Take it out of water and let it dry for some time.
- Press it gently with a masher or flat surface of a bowl.
- Shallow fry or roast on a pan with few drops of oil or ghee.
- Fry on both sides well.
- Sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder.
- Garnish with roasted jeera sesame seeds and coriander.
- Add few drops of lemon and serve hot crispy smashed potato.
