- Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C. Line a 9 inch cake pan.Sift the flour and baking powder and keep aside.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat the eggs until light and frothy. Add the sugar and beat again.Pour in the oil and beat again.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder and salt into the egg mixture. Do not overmix.Fold in the walnuts.
- Pour into the pan and bake for 35 - 40 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean.Cool the cake for 15 mins and remove from pan.
