- Boil the 1.5 cup of water, remove the cover of the water chestnut (singhara) and boil it for 3-4 mins not more to keep its crunch. Drain it and cool it down
- Chop the cucumber, grate the amla and deseed the pomegranate. Put all these three along with water chestnut in a bowl. Put it in refrigerator till you make the dressing
- For the dressing - Take one lemon juice, add finely chopped coriander and pudina leaves, salt to taste and black pepper. Mix the dressing and pour it in bowl of chesnut, cucumber, alma and pomegranate. Serve it.
