Wheat Apple Jaggery Cake

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour
  • Apple Medium size
  • Apple small size
  • Curd
  • Milk
  • Baking soda
  • Baking powder
  • Jaggery
  • Vanilla essence
  • Oil / Melted butter

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and grate the medium sized apple.
  • Add the grated apple and the Jaggery to the pan and cook it for 10 mins, Keep it aside to cool down
  • Take a size medium bowl; mix the wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda. Then add the apple jaggary sauce, melted butter and vanilla essence to it and mix well. Finally stir in the milk until the mixture is smooth. Pour or spoon mixture into the grease
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. If you are making in cooker, the baking will take 50-60min.
  • Take out the baked cake, let it cool down, then garnish the cake with sliced apples

Notes/Tips

Add jaggery according to your taste. Always use new packets of baking powder and baking soda
