Ingredients

  • Wheat flour
  • Jaggery Powder
  • Oil
  • Yogurt
  • Baking powder
  • Baking soda
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Chopped nuts
  • Water

Instructions

  • Add jaggery powder, oil and yogurt in a bowl and mix till jaggery dissolves.
  • In another bowl, add wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda & cinnamon powder and mix well. Add to the wet mix slowly & fold it in.
  • Add Vanilla Essence and 1/2 cup water slowly till it reaches cake batter consistency. Add more water if required. Add half of the chopped nuts to the batter and mix.
  • Pour the batter in a greased tin & garnish with remaining nuts. In a preheated oven, bake at 180° for 35 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool down completely, unmold & cut into thick slices. Healthy delicious Whole Wheat Flour Jaggery Cake is ready to serve.
