Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 3/4 Cup
  • Besan Flour 1/4 Cup
  • Sooji 1 - 2 Tbspn
  • Cardamom 5
  • Ghee 1/4 Cup
  • Powdered Jaggery 1/2 Cup
  • Salt A Pinch
  • Baking Powder 1/4 - 1/2 Tspn
  • Baking Soda 1/4 - 1/2 Tspn
  • Milk 3 - 4 Tbspn

Instructions

  • Sieve Wheat Flour,Besan Flour,Sooji,Baking Powder,Baking Soda and pinch of Salt in a bowl
  • In a mixie jar powder the Jaggery and Cardamom and add it to the bowl and mix well
  • Add the Ghee and then milk and mix altogether to form a dough
  • Need not knead it. Take a portion and make it into ur desired shapes.
  • Pre heat airfryer and place the shaped dough into it. Set temperature at 180c for 15mins
  • You can keep it for some more time if you feel they are not done. Also make sure to keep an eye on it.

Notes/Tips

- This is generally done using maida and sugar. I for the healthy variation made it using Wheat Flour and Podered Jaggery. - Make sure you keep an eye when the nankhatais are getting baked as It might get burnt. - Adjust the temperature and timing according to your oven -Instead of Ghee, butter can also be used.
